PLANNING PROCESS

The Comprehensive Plan will be developed over 10 to 12 months. During the Comprehensive Plan process, a master plan for the five focus areas will also be incorporated into the overall Plan. The key tasks for the planning process and schedule are listed below.

   1. Existing land use evaluation

   3. Resiliency element of the Plan update
4. Plan Development - February - June 2024
   1. Prepare the required elements of the Plan
   2. Prepare plans for the Focus Areas
5. Implementation Plan - April 2023 - June 2024
   1. Prepare implementation strategies
   2. Prepare revisions to the draft Plan
6.  Adoption Process - June - August 2024
   1. Planning Commission consideration of the updated Plan
   2. Town Council consideration of adoption
