FOCUS AREAS
As part of the overall planning process, there will be an additional focus and master planning effort for five focus areas that include the areas along the riverfront that were formerly occupied by Pacolet Mills and the downtown area. This part of the planning process will include recommendations for redevelopment opportunities, urban design, and economic strategies that will help create a vibrant riverfront and activity areas that are walkable, providing a range of services to residents. The boundaries of these areas will be examined as the planning process moves forward.
